We made sure to tailor the site to their key demographic – people who are new to the company and want to quickly and easily understand who they are and why they are different.”
This project greatly improved my skills with PHP and custom WordPress theme development. I have worked on many custom themes over my career, but this was the first project I did almost all of it on my own. I am particularly proud of the custom Loan Originator search. This involved creating two custom post types, one for the loan originators and one for the locations or offices, and allowing the user to search by their ZIP code to pull up the nearest originators to them. This was done by using Google Places API to sort the locations post type by nearest to the entered ZIP code and then querying loan originators that belonged to those locations through a custom field on the back end of their profile. This AJAX filter allows for a seamless user experience and organizes this company’s large roster into a usable resource for their customers.

I also got to do some other fun stuff to improve the user interface like scroll animations and sticky scroll, which draw the eye to different pieces of information and keep the user engaged as they scroll down the page.
Just like all my other sites, this one also has a great mobile interface as well for users looking for loan originators on the go.
